What do you mean by collaboration, trust, and authenticity?
I don't want to show up on your wedding day as a total stranger. If I were to do this, you would not feel comfortable in front of the camera and your wedding photos would not accurately represent your wedding day. Working with me means getting to know each other beyond the camera lens- I want to know how you met, what you love about one another, what you love about yourselves, what you care about and what your passions are. I want to hear about your wedding day and what details you have written down and what you want it to feel like. I work with you and we keep an honest, open dialogue about the timeline, the shot list, the general vision for the day. That way, on your wedding day, you know and trust I will get everything you were hoping for and more.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! Any wedding booked outside of Illinois but within the US falls under my 'Domestic' package which is detailed in my pricing guide! Weddings outside of the US fall under my "International" package, which is also detailed on my pricing guide. For more information, please inquire with me and I'll send you that guide! Please note customization is available for these packages according to your wedding day needs!
We're super awkward in front of the camera, will you pose us?
I totally understand how nerve-wracking it can be standing in front of a camera, that's why I root myself in collaboration, trust, and authenticity for weddings and regular shoots. Getting to know you helps me better understand where your comfortability is and thus makes guiding and posing feel all the more natural to you! I will gently guide, pose, and prompt you throughout our time together in a way that makes you feel seen, authentic, and beautiful!
Do you have any add-ons for weddings?
Yes! My 'Standard' and 'Upgrade' weddings can have film added on, a second photographer added on, up to an extra hour added on, and a 2hr rehearsal dinner coverage add-on! Do you offer styling and/or outfit guidance?
Absolutely! When you book a couples or family session with me, you get sent a guide that gives you all tips and tools to help you better plan your attire for the day of your session. You also have access to me- so you can ask me questions and send me outfit ideas and we can collaborate on what would look best for the session!
